Carlo Petrini – Second Global Indigenous People’s Forum 2015
In February 2015, about 40 representatives from indigenous peoples’ organizations and institutions from Africa, Asia and the Pacific, Latin America and the Caribbean met at IFAD headquarters in Rome for the Second Global Meeting of the Indigenous Peoples’ Forum at IFAD to discuss about indigenous peoples’ food systems and sustainable livelihoods. A Special Event with Carlo Petrini, President of the International Slow Food Movement, on IFAD-Slow Food joint partnership with indigenous peoples: Indigenous Terra Madre 2015 (India) and Expo 2015, was held during the Forum on 13 February.
